Only try hards, and hackers will be using the Achilles. Another 1 for the worst armor design classes in the Halo franchise imo. This armor was not a big hit on H5 cause barely anyone had it. It's mainly used for a toxic players, as far as I've seen and know for the past years playing H5. I've seen way too many players on H5 who had this armor and all of them were too much. And now I've met 1 today on infinite, and he was a pretty toxic try hard for a pc player.

I find it hard to call myself a halo fan these days. What’s there to be a fan of? The old days? Hell no, those have come and gone, they’ve lost their luster and Bungie’s a shitty company- 343 had plenty of ups and down but fumbling the bag with Halo Infinite was probably the straw that broke the camel’s back. This game was damn near perfect- fucking amazing. Fun, modern without feeling hyper-optimized, simple, and my god did it look stellar. Utterly beautiful. Yeah- the campaign map was a bit same-y but it was a nice change of pace. They literally had one of the best foundations for a game, and they threw the instructions out and said “we’ll build it ourselves!” And now we end up with a shitty popsicle-stick house. I do not understand how it’s so hard to just give the people what they want but- I’m done. I don’t even think I’ll be hyped for the next Halo title. Or anything Halo, for that matter. I think the only thing that would get me excited would be the fucking Mega Construx sets.
I don’t think it can be underscored just how bad of a state Halo is in right now. It‘s genuinely depressing. It hurt to uninstall Halo Infinite knowing what it could have been- what we wanted it to be. This may very well seem overdramatized but I lived on this franchise. It’s what got me started on FPS games in the first place. This series molded a good part of my preferences and expectations for this amazing series- and to see it be so mishandled has finally broken me. Halo 4, I could let slide. The story, I enjoyed. Gameplay was alright- didn’t really play much MP besides Spartan Ops. Halo 5 was fine too- even if the story wasn’t too good, but I could live with it. I cannot begin to imagine how many people were immensely let down with Halo Infinite. They had the key to the pearly gates and shoved it up their ass.
I don’t think anyone deserves Halo at this rate. Not even the fans. I think it’s time to let it rest or put it down. Because I don’t think I can stomach seeing any more harm come to it.

If 343 happens to be reading, custom armor sets that we can save and switch between would be great, so I dont have to manually change every bit of armor, or save a dozen screenshots trying to remake an armor setup I really liked.

This really wasn't an update. It's just a glorified shop refresh. All the cool, unique looking armors are sold at the store. They chose the most hideous armor to make for free on the battlepass.

@@ChadsYT yeah I think the main things that aren’t cross core yet are some of the “default” coatings for armor cores like the one you mentioned (I think yoroi and chimera are in this boat too) as well as all the standard issue ones for weapons and vehicles. Also the campaign ones for weapons and vehicles. Not sure if there’s much else?
