Actually not bs. You hit him with your dash meaning the shield will not be extended anymore and since you can now knife someone while falling, he was able to do that. But not a lot of people know that. My brother was also suprised in a 1v1.

@Karuizawa if that’s the case what’s even the point of the oryx dash. His main purpose is to counter shields and if he can’t do that he is just a rotate maker. I literally have never used him to jump a hatch and 95% I see someone try jump a hatch they immediately die. Sheila’s in general are so fucking stupid. It gives someone with no skills an equal playing field and that’s why ranked has a huge skill gap among golds to diamonds. You can literally run ying Monty blitz and lion and win every game. It’s why you have one guy on team dropping double digits and two people dropping donuts. This game would be much better without the cheese ops. It is a fps game supposedly

So an average bullet travels at around 2736 Kilometers/hour or 1700 miles/hour. That's 6 times faster than the top speed of the fastest car in the world. The shield can stop that bullet, but a knife that swings slow can knife through a shield?? Okay Ubi

ah that's how it's done. i play mostly shields and i attributed this to the new melee animation. just a guess but if they changed the hitbox on it, it could be clipping through the shield.

I hope you don't take this as a hate or anything close to that, but I would like you to not show the way/method on how to do glitches, showing the glitch in action is enough for people to take notice and avoid them, maybe help Ubisoft take notice themselves and fix them, showing the method to recreate it is not a good idea and will make the game worse to people, especially this one where shield ops are already hard to use

Honestly, ubi, just remove shields or disable them for the moment.
They are inconsistent as hell, annoying to play as and against and half of the shield ops in the game are generally agreed to be quite shite.
Just disable them or remove them and either give them a big rework to make them less ass to play and go against or just change clash and blitz to not have a shield and give them a new gadget.

Hell no, the shields are literally fine right now. The only thing that’s causing these issues is this glitch and the fact that ubisoft has some weird ass hit detection. It feels like when you turn towards an enemy with your shield, there’s a solid 1 second delay before the game realizes oh, he’s facing that way now damage be gone

@the defense they nerfed them to garbage with this update so they’re fine. they are unique and though annoying, very easily to counter. They can gain intel, and with the ability to knife through the shield, this will work well, as the least skilled player can sacrifice for very valuable intel.
