ah you see, this is balanced because rook isnt zofia........ lmfao regardless of who, the entire point zofia lost her DBNO phase was because she dumped on 2 shitters in PL and they lost as a result (ubisoft wont say this but thats why they did it) not sure how or why rook getting it is somehow "balanced" when if anything it arguably makes less sense that he can do this but zofia cannot....... but yh lets smoke keep his immunity in his own smoke or ying stay immune to her own flash or Aruni make head sized holes because shes got a fake arm..... sorry but still to do this day, the actual reason ubisoft gave us for zofia losing DBNO is bullshit when other operators still have there "2nd abilities" present.

As monty you should sit away from defuser if its not in a corner. Force an uncomfortable spot on defenders. Finish people off you down, even if you are in a gunfight. You barely get the chance to stand up with took armor you literally only ever get the chance if the enemy is stupid af, never leave people down in siege and get a good headset the game has a really good sound engine callouts can become obsolete when you literally hear exactly where people are

to be fair rook doesn't really have a specific counter right now.
I think a perfectly fine middle ground is that if you down someone with rook armor, you will get the injure notification like you used to. Yes you can hear the armor cracking which is loud, but if you are like Kali and sniping from far away, you might not hear it so that will even things out.

@Jacob Whelan I mean yeah, the whole point of what I said is that Kali can snipe them again, it's just that now she will know that Rook is downed 100% of the time, but she is already going to know most of the time anyways so it isn't even a significant buff. My suggestion is also only very situational, most of the time you can hear the crack of the armor and know that the player is down, my suggestion is just making it so that everyone gets the knowledge regardless of range or all of the other sounds going on.

I will have to agree on this because when I play Kali on console I have to hit twice before I can down them and I'm usually in spots where I can't finish so then they just revive and usually have a thunderbird and fully heal which then just becomes annoying. At the bare minimum I can see the revive staying if the health boost was removed

I think claymores should outright kill a defender even if they have rook armor. It just doesn’t seem fair that a defender can carelessly walk over to the defuser after he’s killed the attacking team and not have any repercussions for not being thorough and making sure there isn’t w claymore there

I understand the people that defend Rook armour having self res, but being able to run into a clymore at low health, kill 2 enemies with it and make it out alive is a bit dumb. Sources like explosives should be able to bypass downing in situations like that

to be fair, rook has always been able to eat explosives. From Season 0 if you applied rook armor you can be on top of C4 that blows up and make it out alive. But that in combination with the self res, yeah I see your point.

People are such hive Minds, withstand on Rook is barely that useful, just double tap and make sure to not leave defenders downed when there's a Rook in the game, it's common sense, some people really don't have Any game knowledge and are gun spraying bots that only know How to rush and to use gadgets that activate pretty much by themselves
