I would recommend rolling towards the enemy for a few hits which you wouldn't get rolling backwards. Though it wouldn't be the best play while low on health lol

1:55 Dodgeroll in Valheim is really easy. It is no DS or Elden Ring, you have almost whole 1,5second of immortality during roll, even bad ones when you start rolling with boss still having the hand above his head works more often time than not. I would recommend that over parry, that is abit more time sensitive.

Yes! Never used shield or parry. Dodge is immortality if used properly. Saves you from taking HP pots and can only take stam ones. I melled the whole queen fight for 23 mins of rolley polleys🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Parries are the most powerful option in a lot of cases.

The dodge roll is definitely the option that will give you the most in return but I also like the fact that parrying is an option that comes with the game and is part of the mechanics. In general it just feels less cheesy to use in my opinion

I built a wall around Bonemass. He spawned outside the wall, but it didn't matter. I stood on the wall and he couldn't touch me so I rained frost arrows on him. In the end, I jump and finished him woth a couple swings of my trusty Frostner.

I have always found it weird how usually in the biome right after, you get weapons that would have been so useful for the previous biomes boss fight. Frost is amazing against bonemass, definitely the best weapons to fight him, good choice!
