Another 2 chest locations in the meadows. In the small 4 x 4 size buildings, look above the ceiling. Similarly, in the 1 x 1 buildings that look like outhouses, look up just under the roof.

I found out, that you can not put alle fish on horizontal item stands. so far I've only seen it with the grouper and the northern salmon. the rest would only go on vertical item stands

Yes, found in game chects have only 8 slots. This was the case also for the craftable ones. I think this was changed around the Heart & Home update.

Ten slot chests do exist in the wild, I have found them in stone structures like towers in the Black Forest or Mountain biomes.

It took me 350 hours to beat the game legit. I just learned that campfires could reduce spawns in my base. I think games with a tone of content means it's ok to not know everything.

nice vid! did you know that when ur building until it gets red, theres like a 3-5 second timer before it breaks so if ur fast enough to connect it stiffly by then, it doesnt break. i found out abt this while building bridges to cross rivers.
I used the "bottom" snap option and just spammed the beams until it hit the ground deep in the river and it worked😂

Not even just in the far north. You actually have to be within the tropics in order for the sun to be directly overhead, and even then, it this only happens once or twice a year. As long as you are anywhere north of the tropic of cancer, the sun will always be south at mid day.

I have a small tip, its probably a well known one but i'll still share it. Let's say you're trying to farm a single specific item, let's say Scrap Iron from the sunken crypts, and you don't want to bother with any or most of the other drops in that dungeon. What you can do is split the scrap Iron into stacks until all your empty inventory slots are filled with just stacks of scrap iron. Ta da! You will now only pick up scrap iron with auto pick up. This obviously works with any stackable items and you can do it with multiple items. I use this when i'm doing foraging runs and dont want to pick up any other drops a long the way.

I tend to do this with carts/ships when mining. Split stack ore, stone and wood so they're arranged nicely then place stacks offloads them in pleasing arrangements rather messed up. LOL.

One other thing I recently learned that isn't on the video: Break down shipwrecks in the Black Forest for fine wood. ONLY fine wood, and can be done with a basic axe. It's a great early source of fine wood.

Just have to remember the buried deck plate and sometimes the chest. That the axe now has down slash is a lot more helpful than it used to be. Used to use pickaxe to clear stumps and low shipwreck parts.

regarding colors on signs, if you're using a hex code, you can omit the "color=" part of the color code in the sign. better yet, you can use a "reduced" hex code using only 1 character for each red, green, and blue, resulting in <#RGB> where you replace each of R, G, B with a hex number of your choice.
